Comics + Art

Fruit Camp also hosts visual and performance artists in our second floor and garage studios. Check their practices below!

Stoop Shop

Stoop Shop is a comic book shop founded in 2023 as a weekly pop up, inspired by the mystery and excitement of stumbling upon a stoop sale that now sells comics out of our storefront!

Stoop Shop publishes books under the imprint Stoop Shop Comics and runs our press out of Fruit Camp’s garage. Pulling inspiration from the legacy of Baltimore's DIY arts/music scene, we carry that energy into printing and distributing small press comics. We prioritize publishing queer, trans, and POC voices.

Stoop shop is open for retail hours (comics shopping!) on Fridays at Fruit Camp’s studio from 12pm-8pm. @stoopshopcomics

GRL PWR

GRL PWR is a collaborative partnership between two Baltimore-based musicians, Amy Reid and Pangelica Hall. Their mission is to transform Baltimore's cultural landscape through the elevation of LGBTQIA+ artists. Their work nurtures an influential yet overlooked local culture through event curation and community-focused programming.
