My tattoo practice understands tattoos to be ink + blood portals: Individualized areas of heightened energy consciousness activated thru collaborative energy, consensual ancestral pain/blood offerings, affirmations, sacred imagery, as well as spiritual/emotional release. Tattoos are ancestral markings. They are ancient energy chambers that we allow to guide us and exist on our bodies for the rest of our lives.
I use spirit, faith, and breath to guide me through skin.
